The hot weather is back again with a peak of 31ºC today. I the afternoon thunderstorm hit the adjacent hills but we have been skiped. From birding point of view it was and eventful and exciting day... Today highlights: Red-necked Grebe 1 (adult) Purple Heron 1 Eurasian Spoonbill 1 Black Stork 18 White Stork 1 European Honey-Buzzard 1 Osprey 1 White-tailed Eagle 2 Eurasian Hobby 2 (early morning one of them was successfully hunting on a young Barn Swallow) Ferruginosus Pochard 1 male Eurasian Oystercatcher 1 Green Sandpiper 9 Barred Warbler 1 European Starling ~22.000 --- A forróság visszatért a környékünkre 31ºC-os csúccsal a mai napon. Délutánra a Gerecse lábainál zivatarok tanui voltunk, de elkerült minket. Madártani oldalról eléggé mozgalmas és izgalmas napot zártunk...
